FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers about our services, tools and work on your specification.
Can I send a specification without a finished drawing?
Yes. Send a sample, photos or a description of the task. We will clarify which dimensions and technical data are needed to discuss manufacturing.
Do you make individual custom tools?
You can inquire about a single part. Manufacturing feasibility is determined by its geometry, material and specification.
What information should I include in my inquiry?
A drawing or sample, main dimensions, material, quantity and application description are most useful. If you do not have everything, send what is available.
Can I discuss the choice of material?
Yes. We consider the purpose and operating conditions. We do not recommend a universal material without information about the specific tool.
Do you make new reamers?
Yes. We work to a specific brief and agree on dimensions and application before manufacturing.
Do you offer correction of an existing reamer?
We can discuss correction after reviewing the tool and the hole requirements. Feasibility depends on the tool's condition.
What information is useful for an inquiry?
The drawing or hole dimensions, workpiece material and machining process information are most useful. Photos of a tool or sample also help.
What do you need to prepare a proposal?
Send photos and available cutter specifications with a short description of its application. After reviewing them, we will clarify whether additional information or an inspection is needed.
Can I send a tool without a drawing?
Yes. Photos, dimensions and the tool itself can help with an initial discussion. The necessary information depends on its condition and the correction required.
Can every cutter be sharpened again?
Feasibility depends on the wear, geometry and condition of the specific tool. We will answer after reviewing the information.
Is a finished drawing required?
A drawing is the best way to specify dimensions and geometry. If you have a sample or task description, send it and we will discuss any additional information required.
Can the tool be made for a specific production operation?
Yes. The tool's application is the starting point for discussing its geometry and manufacturing.
How is the material agreed?
Material is discussed according to the drawing, purpose and operating conditions. We do not suggest a universal choice without details of the specific task.
